The INDEPENDENT LUMBER DEALERS CO-OPERATIVE was founded in 1964, and is one of Canada's leading buying cooperatives. It is comprised of 23 of Canada's largest independent home improvement chains with a total of 153 outlets from coast to coast, with sales of $2.0 billion, and growing. Each member company competes for business under its own name.
The combined volumes of its members provide the vendor with a major home improvement player, with a variety of stores from coast to coast, which include big boxes, traditional home improvement stores and contractor yards in both urban and rural markets.
